There is SO MUCH TO DO!! Jackson Hole is one of the most unique spots in the country! Summer or winter, you are in for a treat! TCR is only 10 miles from the southernmost entrance to our beloved Grand Teton National Park. Spectacular hiking and climbing for all ages and skills. And, TCR is only 12 miles from the town of Jackson, your jumping off spot for whitewater rafting and spectacular scenic floats on the Snake River, world-class fly fishing trips, the JH Rodeo every Wednesday and Saturday night between Memorial and Labor days, galleries, arts festivals sprinkled throughout the summer, entertainment, and lots of shopping.
Fifteen minutes away is Teton Village, home of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, where the aerial tram runs seven days a week. A great place to start a hike, find some summer snow or enjoy the high altitude and late summer wildflowers. The Grand Teton Music Festival and Chamber Music during the week, with the Symphony playing on Friday and Saturday nights.
Yellowstone National Park is well worth a day trip. The lower loop is a full-day excursion and an early morning departure lends to the best possible chance to see wildlife and beat the crowds. There are also guided tours that you can hire to take you through both Grand Teton and Yellowstone Parks. Wildlife Expeditions has wonderful programs and will load you with information about this area.
The following is a short list of all the activities available to you. There is never enough time to do all the things you want to do in Jackson Hole...it just means you have to come back again and again and again!
