Weddings and Private Functions
Jackson Hole is a wonderful location for a destination wedding or special event. Trail Creek Ranch is the ideal spot to be married , have a reception, reunite families, or entertain groups of any kind.
Trail Creek Ranch has several sites for weddings, receptions, and functions where a pristine setting and the true essence of a ranch is required. Our views are of the Gros Ventre range and the Sleeping Indian. A spectacular setting. We can host parties from 2 people to 250 with ease.
We had our wedding and reception at Trail Creek Ranch and it more than exceeded our expectations! We were also lucky enough, along with much of wedding guests, to have the opportunity to stay in the cabins on the ranch. The ranch is beautiful, breathtaking, and intimate all at the same time. It was very special for locals as well as for our guests that had never visited Wyoming. And a special shout out to Alex for making us all feel very comfortable, and ensuring everything was as perfect as possible for our special day.

Trail Creek Ranch was a magical place to get married. The beauty of the ranch and surrounding landscape is matched handily by the kindness and thoughtfulness of the staff. We rented out the entire ranch. Our friends who stayed there raved about the location and want to return to Trail Creek in the future. In addition to solitude the property provides, they enjoyed the laid back, low-key atmosphere. Our wedding day was a stormy one. Unsure of what to do, Alex suggested that we get married in the loft of the barn. It was AMAZING, and we have Alex to thank. She was fabulous to work with throughout the entire experience–flexible, caring, and calm. Jim and I would recommend this spot to anyone looking for a more genuine mountain experience removed from the “hustle” of Jackson Hole. Thank you to Alex and everyone at Trail Creek for making our wedding weekend perfect.

I was lucky enough to have my wedding at Trail Creek Ranch. It was a place that I had always heard was special and gorgeous, but when I went and looked myself I was blown away. The old barn, the meadows, the pond… everything was just exactly what I pictured for a perfect setting for my wedding. Working with Alex was a pleasure to say the least. She and her team worked hard to prep the ranch for my wedding day… cutting grass, sprucing up cabins, irrigating meadows so they were green and lush. She was also very helpful with he layout of my tent and transportation coordination. On the day of the wedding everything went very smoothly. Alex was right there to take care of any last minute needs such as parking and guiding guests to the ceremony spot. The ceremony and wedding went off without a hitch. It was the best, most magical day of my life…. in big part to Alex and Trail Creek Ranch.
Kyle and I explored almost every wedding site in the Tetons and after seeing all of our options we knew that Trail Creek Ranch best fit our style and needs. We wanted to be somewhere outside in the mountains, where we met and lived. Trail Creek is a place we’ve nordic skied and passed by after many days skiing on Teton Pass. With the beautiful views of the Gros Ventre mountains and the pastures and big pines, Trail Creek feels like the middle of the wilderness, while it’s only a few minutes from town. The ranch is a beautiful blank slate nestled at the base of the mountains. My husband and I spent our wedding night in a sweet cabin on the ranch. Choosing Trail Creek Ranch as our wedding venue was one of the best decisions we made!

We got married at Trail Creek Ranch in July of 2018 and could not have asked for a better experience. Jackson was a destination we had dreamed of. After touring many beautiful options with Teton views and grand beautiful lodges we weren’t getting the intimate feeling we were hoping for, until we found Trail Creek Ranch. From the minute we drove in to this picturesque wooded area we were sold. Minutes later we met Alex and it was a done deal. All the venues we looked at before had these very strict rules which really started to make the experience feel less personal, but Alex was a breath of fresh air. Trail Creek Ranch does have the standard rules of any rented venue but for the most part it is to be respectful of their beautiful land and once you step foot there that is all you would want to do anyway. There are so many locations to have your ceremony and reception on the property that you can really make it feel personal. Alex helped us find local vendors to keep our costs down and helped make sure everything went off beautifully. The best thing about this location is the natural beauty. You don’t need much to make it feel like a beautiful event, its already there! Our guests all travelled it so for them to be able to take in this unique scenery was so special to us. They were able to see the view of Sleeping Indian during our ceremony, horses running during our cocktail hour and take in the sunset and endless star view by the end of the night. It has been months since our wedding and we still get calls asking the name of our venue and guests raving about the time spent on the ranch.
The most special part of the weekend was getting to stay on the ranch with our whole family. We opted to rent out all the cabins and it worked perfectly to fit our families so not only did we have our wedding there, we spent time with our families away from the craziness of town to just enjoy the beauty of the area and each other. The cabins are all wonderful, each with their own charm. We stayed in Alex’s cabin were the bridal party was able to get ready before the wedding and our families were spread amongst the other cabins. We already look forward to spending anniversaries to come back in that cabin! I would highly recommend Trail Creek Ranch for any event you may be having, but also just as a place to stay while visiting this beautiful part of the country. You get that quiet beautiful stay all while still being so close to Jackson if desired. It truly is the best of both worlds.
